At Community Food Connection, we understand that life can present unexpected challenges, and we want you to know that we’re here to help.
Our services are designed to make sure no one in our community ever has to go without food. You’re not alone, and there’s no need to hesitate or feel shy. We encourage you to shop, at no cost, at our food pantry.
We believe that everyone deserves access to nutritious meals, and we are committed to making that a reality for you. Whether you’re facing a temporary setback or an ongoing struggle, please know that you are always welcome at CFC.
Any resident of Blount County who is in need may use our food pantry. Simply come into the store, bring your picture I.D., and if this is your first time, complete this form:
Open Hours:
Monday: 10am-12pm
Wednesday: 10am-2pm
Thursday: 5pm-7pm
Saturday: 10am-12pm
3rd Sat of Each Month: 2pm-4pm -Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association 18-3 serving Veterans in our Community.
Our suggested frequency is every two weeks, but you are welcome to come whenever you find yourself in need. You may also pick up food for other families who cannot drive to the food pantry themselves.
We strive to provide a wide variety of groceries to meet your needs. When you visit our food pantry, you can expect to find:
Dairy and Protein:
Eggs, cheese, and protein sources like chicken and meat are generally available.
Pet food:
We don’t want our furry friends to be left out.
Nutrient-rich fruits and vegetables for a balanced diet.
Bread and Bakery Items:
Fresh bread and bakery items available.
Canned Goods:
A selection of canned fruits, vegetables, proteins, and soups.
Snacks and Desserts:
Treats and snacks to enjoy with your family.
Staples:
Pantry staples such as rice, pasta, cereal, and beans.
Hygiene items:
Soap, shampoo, and paper products are often available.

“My son, his wife, and their four children (one special needs) live with me. I try to help them out as much as I can with my social security, but it’s tough sometimes. The food I get here pretty much feeds us for the entire week and the volunteers are all great.”
